Thrift Shop Donations Halting February 20

This winter, the Thrift Shop has been accepting donations in the parking lot of the City's Community Center (MICEC). Due to a staffing vacancy, the City will be unable to safely receive and manage donations starting on February 20, through at least March 13. Current Thrift Shop retail operations will continue as scheduled, Sundays 10am-3pm, at the Mercerdale Park location. This is made possible by volunteers and staff continuing to process a backlog of stockpiled community donations.

An update will be provided in early-March regarding Thrift Shop operations. It is anticipated that donation acceptance will likely resume Saturday, March 27. We ask the community *not* to place donated items at the Community Center (MICEC), the Thrift Shop, or near donation bins - we do not have the staff resources to clean-up illegal dumping or accept items at this time.
