Hummel Music Box, "Ride into Christmas"

Artistic beauty and craftsmanship, the Four Seasons Music Box Series, created by Goebel and produced by Anri continues to bring together the two companies in a unprecedented collaboration for the creation of this unique collectible, "RIDE INTO CHRISTMAS, the First Edition in this series of four. As the chief interpreters of Sister M. I. Hummel's artwork, Goebel's master sculptor Gerhard Shrobek and master painter Gunther Neubauer traveled to Italy to work with the Anri craftsmen. A worldwide limited edition of only 10,000, this one is #006042. The 36-note Swiss movement by Reuge plays "Winter Wonderland". Control of the movement is accomplished through the switch on the side of the box and will play to its conclusion whether the box is open or closed. Measures 6” X 4.5” X 3”. Has a few nicks here and there but the music plays beautifully.
